PROGRAM DETAILS
Although frequently acknowledged to be the largest and fastest growing mental health issue, few professionals are trained to identify, assess and intervene in cases that involve personality disorders. These disorders are almost always the driving force behind stalled treatment; stressful and frustrating case management; and confusing, resistive, unmanageable, "difficult" or high-risk clients. Without understanding the phenomenon of personality disorders, a
practitioner's effectiveness is greatly diminished. Ineffective interventions and unnecessarily high levels of fatigue, stress, confusion and frustration can result.
This seminar offers the most current and comprehensive information available about personality disorders. Designed for practitioners who know very little about the phenomenon as well as those with highly developed assessment and intervention skills, attendees will gain new understanding and skills and will learn powerful interventions for the management and treatment of their most difficult and frustrating cases -- those involving personality disorders.
