OB/GYN is considered to be one of the more challenging of medical specialties
when it comes to documentation and coding. The OB/GYN office must master
diagnostic testing, E&M, surgery and obstetric billing in order to maximize

and coding process where it is essential to have a successful outcome.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Wendy L. Rhodes, CPC, CMBS, RHE, is currently
licensed as a NY State Licensed Billing and Coding Instructor. Mrs.
Rhodes has over 22 years of experience in the coding and billing
field. She received her New York State Instructor license 6 years ago
and currently teaches medical terminology, anatomy and physiology,
physician billing and coding at a business school in Latham, NY. She
received her CPC in 1998 through AAPC, her CMBS through Medical
Association of Billers in 1999 and her RHE (register healthcare
educator) through the National Healthcareer Association in 2006. She
has several CMS certificates in topics such as Medicare, Medicare Part
D, HIPAA and ICD-9. Mrs. Rhodes has owned and operated her own
home-based billing, training and consulting company for the past 10
years. She teaches a home business seminar, which teaches students how
to set up and operate a home billing company. Mrs. Rhodes two-plus
decades in this field have given her years of experience and a stock
pile of tips and tools of the trade that participants can implement
with confidence!
