Our mission for the past 30 years at the LEAD Institute / General Systems Consulting Group has been to assist our clients to lead and manage change effectively, helping them to make their organizations more productive and better places in which to work.
Our LEAD Institute Program for High Potential Managers is built upon our long history of applied consultation, executive education and very satisfied clients. We have, for the past ten years, offered The LEAD Program as both an open enrollment and in-house program for companies who want their high potential managers to become even better by improving the performance of their work units, becoming both better leaders and managers and enhancing their personal style to have a more positive impact on others. LEAD is an applied, developmental program. Participants do leave LEAD with written change plans they can implement on-the-job immediately.
On-site consulting services provided by our General Systems Consulting Group are Leadership, Team and Organizational Development, as well as Training & Education.
Leadership Development encompasses personalized coaching, personal style assessments, 360į leadership survey feedback processes, personal skills development and new leader transition consultation. A recent addition to this service area is our Leadership Skills & Style Development program for supervisors, team leaders, middle managers and program/project managers.
Team Development focuses on helping leadership teams, business unit teams and project teams transform themselves into high performance teams that make sound decisions and bring the best of the team members. Our team development processes strengthen the teamís collective sense of common purpose, while enhancing the personal contributions and individuality of each team member.
Strategic Organizational Development is an indepth, longer-term, collaborative development process to improve the capacity of the organization or work unit to achieve its purpose. The goal is to bring about fundamental change through processes such as visioning and preferred futuring sessions, affirmation of core values and core purpose, examining the organizationís current reality of threats and opportunities, assessing the need for change in the organizationís climate or culture and strategic planning.
Training & Education for employee and management development encompasses many on-site, one and two-day programs. These include topic areas such as Culture Change, Enhancing Customer Service, Team Effectiveness, Problem Solving Processes, Lean & Six Sigma, Personal Style, among others.
