Six Sigma by CareerTrack Seminars
What is Six Sigma?
Six Sigma is a business methodology that focuses
on improving quality, while reducing organizational inefficiencies. By
eliminating errors and defects that take time, effort, and money to mitigate,
production costs are slashed, quality and end-results are improved, and
profitability is increased. Six Sigma uses a system called DMAIC, an acronym for
Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control. Six Sigma is used to measure defects in
the output of a business process, and show how far the process deviates from
perfection. By understanding, measuring, and improving processes, defects in the
production system can be eliminated. Many of today's top organizations use the
Six Sigma methodology with exceptional results. Now you too can discover the
incredible benefits through this exciting new one-day event!
In challenging economic times, eliminating wasteful business practices has
never been more critical …
Across America, in both the public and private
sectors, budget woes are taking their toll: finance, housing, manufacturing,
construction, health care, education, government — no segment is immune to
sweeping layoffs, budget cuts, and belt-tightening. Businesses are striving to
slash costs, squeeze more out of shrinking resources, and minimize wasteful
spending any way they can.
CEOs, managers, supervisors, and team leaders — professionals across corporate
America are looking for ways to create a leaner, more streamlined business model
while continuing to deliver the top-quality products and services their
customers demand. As fewer customers open their pocketbooks, competition for
those customers heats up as well. As a result, businesses must operate more
economically and efficiently, while still delivering a superior product and
keeping their customers satisfied.
How can Six Sigma help your business?
This workshop will show you how to put the
principles and methodology of Six Sigma into action within your own
organization. You'll discover how to identify projects and organizational
procedures that will benefit from the Six Sigma process, learn how to put
together a powerful Six Sigma team, and apply Six Sigma methodology and
measuring tools to track progress and analyze results.
From understanding the basic concepts of the Six Sigma process to creating a
customized plan that fits the needs of your own organization, this workshop is
packed with information, answers, and strategies needed to get Six Sigma up and
running quickly, accurately, and effectively.
