Description
In this course you will learn additional Outlook skills including importing data, performing a mail merge, using Instant Messenger from Outlook, configuring and securing Outlook, using the Internet with Outlook, working offline, and creating custom forms.

Audience
The target student is an office professional who is familiar with the Windows environment, has intermediate experience with Outlook, and wants to use advanced Outlook features.

Objectives
·  You will import information, perform a Microsoft Word mail merge using Outlook Contact data, map a contact's address, and create, edit, and use a custom form.
·  You will publish and access free/busy information over the Internet and schedule an online meeting from Outlook.
·  You will use MSN Messenger to send and respond to an instant message. You will also access a newsgroup to view messages.
·  You will use Outlook's Journal tool to record, create, and open journal entries. You will also set Journal options and modify the Journal view.
·  You will configure a dial-up connection, add a Hotmail account, and learn techniques for protecting your computer data, including digitally signing messages, setting message encryption, and setting security zones.
·  You will use the Internet to create Outlook items, add a Web page shortcut, create a folder home page, and insert a hyperlink in an email message.
·  You will learn the necessary steps involved to work either offline or remotely, including creating an offline folder, how to synchronize offline folders with those on the
·  Network, configuring startup options, and downloading message headers for remote use.
