Communicating with a Multigenerational Workforce

There are four distinct generations working side by side in today’s workplace, each with its own viewpoint, values and communication style. To complicate matters further, each generation wants to be understood and respected—but every age brings its own expectations as to what constitutes respect and understanding. Are the messages that Generation Y is trying to convey getting through with equal clarity to all coworkers—both younger and older?
