SkillPath Seminars Training and Seminars

SkillPath Seminars is the nation’s largest management training and publications organization. SkillPath Seminars develops and presents a wide variety of one and two-day public seminars on business management, personal growth and development and technical skill topics under the SkillPath and CompuMaster names throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The division also publishes and markets business and personal growth 'how to' books, audio programs, video training and computer based learning products. We were founded in 1989 and have quickly become the leader in the seminar industry. Our co-founders are Jerry Brown and Denise Dudley, Ph.D. Our current president is Robb Garr. Robb has been with SkillPath since 1990.

Our team of training faculty and corporate staff is the most experienced group of training professionals providing public seminars and workshops today. We train thousands of career-directed, achievement oriented professionals each month. Our faculty members are carefully selected from a variety of backgrounds, including business, industry, psychology and education. The participants attending our seminars are from organizations of all sizes and types, including government, business, health care, education and the military. In addition, we have many participants who are attending on their own to enhance their personal knowledge.

Company Policies

Tuition is tax deductible. All expenses of Continuing Education (including registration fees, travel, meals and lodging) taken to maintain and improve professional skills are tax deductible according to Treasury Regulation 1.162-5 Coughlin vs. Commissioner, 203 F2d 307.

Cancellations received up to five business days before the workshop are refundable minus a registration service charge, ($10.00 for one-day classes and $25.00 for two-day classes.) which you may apply toward a future workshop. After that, cancellations are subject to the entire workshop fee, which you may also apply toward a future workshop. Please note that if you don’t cancel and don’t attend, you are still responsible for payment. Substitutions may be made at any time.

Continuing Education Credit: SkillPath offers Continuing Education Credits based on program length and completion in accordance with the National Task Force for Continuing Education guidelines for attendance at our seminars (save your brochure and/or your Certificate of Attendance). Please contact your professional licensing board or organization to verify specific requirements.

SkillPath is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Standard class times are 9 AM to 4 PM with check-in the first day from 8:15 to 8:45 AM. There are morning and afternoon breaks with an hour off for lunch on your own. Dress is business casual.

A group rate is allowed for each seminar. All attendees must be registered at the same time to receive the discount. See individual event for discount details.

Audio Conferences and Webinars: 

You will receive an e-mail with further instructions within 24 hours after registration.  It will include the 800 number to call to access the session and a private PIN number to use when you call. Call at least 10 minutes before the conference start time, provide your PIN number, get connected and you’re ready to go. Even if you’ve never participated in a conference call before, you’ll be able to set this up easily.
